Need to train the staff better. Yesterday, I brought a recalled air compressor in for a refund as instructed on the Advanced web site. Was told by Al, the GM, that he did not know how to do the transaction but would call corporate and call me today. Never heard from him so I went back to Store 5213 and Kevin explained that Al had left for the day and I'd have to come back for a third day. I called the costumer service number and explained the issue. Shane said he would call the store and explain how to issue the refund. I went back in and told Kevin that Shane would be calling. He said it would not matter because he wasn't allowed to do recall refunds and he had no way of knowing if I had even bought the compressor at Advance Auto. After speaking with Shane, Kevin was able to do it but said he could only issue a store credit. Sold me an item that can catch fire (per the recall) and won't refund me the money paid. I feel this entire interaction was terrible. Caused me to make multiple trips and made a lot of work for me when it shouldn't have been. Very poor service. Feedback: Gave me a refund for the recalled Strike Force Compressor like it said you would on the Advance web site.
